The product
Oxofolio is desktop software for working with PDF documents. It runs entirely on the machine you install it on. You are responsible for holding the right to process the documents you open with it.
Your licence
A Personal licence covers one person on the machines they use themselves. A Firm licence covers the number of people agreed at purchase. Licences are annual. You may not redistribute, resell or reverse engineer the software except where the law says you may.
What the software will not do
Oxofolio applies passwords you already hold; it will not recover, guess or brute-force a password you have lost, and we will not add that. It does not make you compliant with any law — it produces evidence and does work you would otherwise do by hand.
Limits you should know about
Redaction removes the text from the document and the result is read back to confirm the identifier is gone; documents with no text layer are refused rather than covered with a rectangle. Secure erasure overwrites and unlinks the file, which is NIST SP 800-88 Clear — not Purge or Destroy. On a solid-state drive or a snapshotting filesystem, an earlier copy of a block can survive until it is reused, which is why full-disk encryption matters.
Updates and availability
We update the app for security, compatibility and new work. Your licence covers the updates released during its year, on whichever platforms you use.
Payment and refunds
Payments are taken by Razorpay. If the software does not do what this site says it does, write to info@chadura.com and we will put it right or refund you.
Liability
The software is provided as-is to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
